WEDDING FAQs

Do we get full-resolution unwatermarked files?

Yes, absolutely! The files you receive on your custom USB are full-resolution, and you can share, print, and use them as you'd like (for non-commercial purposes).

Does "full-day coverage" really mean full day?

Yes! I'll be there to cover your wedding day for as long as you'd like. From the early-morning salon visit all the way to the final exit from your reception, I'll be there documenting every moment!

How long will it take to get our photos?

My contract promises delivery within 8 weeks. I generally get photos delivered well before that, but it depends in part on where in the busy season your wedding falls. But I always provide sneak peeks of photos as I'm editing, starting the very day after the wedding!

How many photos will we get?

The final number of images depends on how long and detailed your wedding day is, whether you request a second photographer, and other such factors. Typically, though, I deliver about 50-75 images per hour of coverage.

Will you refund our retainer in the event of a cancellation?

The retainer is nonrefundable, as it functions to hold your date and have me turn away any other possible business on that date. If you end up needing to change your wedding date, and I'm available on your new date, I'd be happy to apply your retainer to that new date.

Can you hold the date for us while we consider?

If I get a request for your date within a week of your first inquiry, I'll check with you before I book the other couple. However, your date isn't held until officially booked.

We're ready! How do we book?

Wonderful! I'll send you a contract and an invoice for your 50% retainer. Once you sign the contract and pay the invoice, you're officially on my calendar!

 

EVENT FAQs

Can we add extra hours of coverage on the event day?

Yes, as long as I'm still available, I'm happy to add extra hours to make sure to cover the entirety of your event! The same additional hours fee will apply, and your updated balance will be due at the end of the event.

Can I add prints and products to my all-inclusive digital package? Can I choose prints and products instead of digital files?

Yes, I'm always happy to discuss and create custom packages! Contact me and let me know your needs, and I can send you my à la carte price list and/or create a custom package for you.

What should we wear?

I love helping my clients figure out what to wear for a portrait session! I've created a page with some tips and inspiration boards, and I'm also always happy to consult on outfit ideas in the days leading up to your session.
