It may have been a 25° wintry windy day, but Michelle and Ryan still rocked it out for their romantic engagement photos a couple weeks ago!  They're getting married in August with their reception at the beautiful historic Nassau Inn, so we decided to try for some portraits in the Palmer Square area, knowing we could duck inside Nassau Inn to warm up as needed.  And wow, am I glad we went for it -- what a beautiful time we had celebrating and documenting their engagement!

I was a little worried that the cold and the crazy wind would make Michelle and Ryan feel uncomfortable in front of my camera.  But I should have known I had nothing to worry about -- if anything, the cold made them even more snuggly, and it was so sweet to watch them take care of each other.  And how beautiful to see them get lost in conversation and enjoying each other's company -- they were total naturals, and I can't wait to photograph them on their wedding day!

Michelle and Ryan, congratulations again on your engagement!  And thanks for such a fun afternoon shooting these portraits!
