It's been another wonderful year of meeting awesome people and capturing their stories -- I'm honored to have been asked to photograph each and every one of my clients this year!
As a small, fun way to thank each of them, I'm kicking off my annual "best of" contest! This year, all votes will be tabulated on Facebook, at the link below. The photo with the most likes and comments by 9pm EST on Friday, December 17 will win a 16x24 canvas, of a photo of the winner's choice!
Denise and Ryan are married!! And what an absolutely beautiful wedding day they had! (Completely in keeping with their oh-so-romantic engagement portraits last fall!) These lovebirds met and started dating while they were undergrads at The College of New Jersey, so they chose to have their ceremony on the TCNJ campus, officiated by the director of their college Christian fellowship -- and the entire day was filled with such meaningful touches, honoring their family, their friends, and their faith, as they looked ahead to their future together. Every piece was imbued with so much meaning, and it was such a joy to be a part of it all!
Carolyn and Paul have such a beautiful home up in Skillman, looking out over a lovely little lake. So when Carolyn asked me to take photos of her family, she suggested their backyard as the location -- and I'm so glad she did!
I knew when I first met Willemijn and Kurt that their wedding was going to be something special, and spending time with them at their sweetly romantic engagement session back in March only confirmed that for me. But I was still blown away by how very love-filled and sweetly sentimental their wedding day was. There were so many moments that brought tears to my eyes, and so many wonderful opportunities to create beautiful photos capturing their day. It was such an honor to be the photographer for such a lovely wedding!
Introducing my new logo and some beautiful new branded pieces!
It's always so much fun to cover a post-wedding reception party -- everyone is so excited for the newly-married couple, and there's generally such a wonderful air of reunion and delight in being gathered for such a fun reason. And it's even better when everyone at the party knows how to have a good time!!
Jen and Jon got married earlier this spring down in the DC area, and Jon's parents wanted to throw a big reception party to celebrate them. And what a wonderful gathering of family and friends it was!
A very special giveaway, in honor of my tenth wedding anniversary next month! Enter for a chance to win a couple's photo session, complete with full set of high-resolution digital files!
One of the many fun things about living in Princeton is that everyone in the area wants photos taken in Princeton. ;) Liz and Steve, a lovely newly-engaged couple, came down from the city a couple weekends ago in order to have engagement portraits taken on campus. And what a fun time we had together!
Willemijn and Kurt are so sweetly adorable together! They love spending time outdoors together, spending many of their first dates hiking in Philadelphia area parks, so it made sense to use the beautiful Smithville Historic Park as the setting for their engagement photos!
My first wedding of 2016 was such a lovely, intimate gathering! Susanne and Steve are both visiting fellows at the University, here in Princeton from Chicago for the year, and chose to get married in a sweet civil ceremony officiated by the mayor of Princeton. Their bridal party consisted of their two best friends -- Susanne's maid of honor flew all the way in from Germany just for the ceremony! A beautiful ceremony, followed by such lovely and fun portraits on the University campus -- a wonderful way to spend a March afternoon!
